When the world gets hopeless we fight back by creating art! Laughter is better than crying so a bunch of adults gathered at Sisyphus Brewing to create dioramas of our vision of the future of the United States in 50 years. I decided to create a mermaid castle for the Tryorama.
It was fun bringing a sketch to life with cardboard, paper mache, and glitter! It was my childhood all over again! I started with a sketch of how I wanted the mermaid castle to look. I drew out the front view as well as the view from over the top. I also created an area for a couple battery powered light strings.
In the sunlight you can really see the glitter!
There was all sorts of dioramas created for the event.
